The company was founded officially in 1998, as a legal continuer of the activities of ´Ardzagank 2000´
LTD and ´Argo -7´ corporations. It is one of the leading companies inArmenia
materials, realizes projecting and construction. In 2001 ´R&V Comfort´ was granted an “International
Quality Certificate” inGeneva , Switzerland
foreign producers, having become the exclusive representative of many of them. It mainly imports
goods fromItaly , Spain , Germany , Islamic Republic of Iran, China , Bulgaria , Malaysia , USA
network of ´R&V Comfort´ shops and halls you can find a wide range of products: wall and floor tiles,
PVC and steel pipes, gypsum boards, adhesives, black and galvanized metal sheets, mosaics,
stoneware, sanitary ware, bathroom accessories, swimming pool accessories and chemicals, etc.
Cooperation proposal
The project proposal will foster the development of ecotourism inArmenia
suggested to organize a tourist center in the North East of Armenia in Tavush region at approximately
12 km distance from Ijevan town near the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway. It is located in a glade of a
forrest. This natural glade has the area of 100.000 sqm from which 40.000 sqm is allocated for the
tourist center organization. The rest of the area is suitable to use as a gold field. While projecting the
building area proposal the natural landscape and green coverage of the area have been totally
preserved. This approach has been accepted as the main principle of projection. For this purpose the
buildings, passageways and the observation platforms are provisioned to be built on columns, and
the natural slopes and platforms of the landscape are to be used as paths interconnecting buildings,
water areas, lands for the growth of special tree and plant species, apiculture, parking lots, small
architectural monuments and for other similar purposes. This project proposal will provide: Lodgings
(8 two-storeyed and 4 one-storeyed guesthouses with 26 to 42 rooms /depending on the project
assignment requirements/ where approximately 100 to 120 tourists can be hosted), Dining hall for
100 people with typical ancient armenian architectural solutions, Swimming pool and gym, a Building
for the organization of national specific productions, a building for the preparation of ecologically
clean food, a building for making and display of goods of national applied arts, Administrative
buildings Observation platforms, area maintenance as well as Technical facilities.
Area description: The area is located at a height of1200m above sea level in a mountainous and
woody zone. To the west is the Gugarac and to the south are the Pambak andAreguney Mountain
ranges.Lake Parz and the Aghstev River
Not far from this area medieval Armenian architecture (monastries) can be found. The project
contents includes: 1) explanation, area description, 2) area monuments, 3) tavush region monuments,
4) main plan, 5) views: north-east, west, south-east, 6) views: west, south-east, south, 7) lodgings
plan variants, 8) organization of national specific productions, making ecologically clean food and
goods of national applied arts.
Innovative aspects and/or main advantages of the proposal
As the project is undertaken by an experienced company in the field of construction (Comfort R&V),
and led by its skilled and talented architect Mr. Ruben Shahmuradyan, it will foster the development
of tourism and ecotourism, agritourism, and will help Armenia to introduce a new level of hospitality
complex located in a marvelous landscape to the tourists arriving in Armenia to relish themselves to
the natural beauty of Armenia and spend unforgettable days.
